How To: 2017 Vision Board
First and foremost, Happy New Year! I hope 2017 is getting off to a great start for you!
This year, I decided to do something that I had never done before, and that was to create a vision board! For those you you who may not know, a vision board is a visualization tool that helps one focus on goals to achieve throughout the year. If you haven't made a vision board for 2017, I highly encourage you to make one. It's a great way to track your goal progression and accomplishments throughout the year.
So how do you make a vision board? There are several ways to make a vision board, but here's how I did mine. First, I bought a cork board. You can find a cork board at your local art supply store. I decided to use a cork board so I can easily change my vision board throughout the year. I also used old magazines, construction paper, scissors, push pins, fun stickers, and glue to create my vision board.
In summary, I cut out pictures from magazines that represented my goals for 2017. Some pictures included a car and exercise equipment. After finding pictures, I creatively placed them on the cork board, along with quotes and stickers.
There is no right or wrong way to make a vision board! I encourage you all to be as creative as possible! Also, as the year progresses, feel free to change your vision board as you develop new goals and accomplish old goals .
Below is a slideshow of some materials I used to make my vision board and the final result. I had such a great time creating this vision board. I hope you love it as much as I do!
And I hope you enjoy creating your own vision board! Let's make 2017 an amazing year!
